For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of working not only as an interior designer and decorator, but also directly alongside builders and developers to guide purchasers through the design-change process and ensure exceptional results from concept to completion.

Builder Coordination & Purchaser Design Changes
My work with boutique and luxury residential developments has included full coordination of purchaser designer changes to construction drawings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and seamless communication between client, builder, and trades.
Scope of services has included:
- Project and sample coordination
- Direct purchaser customer service and guidance
- Managing discontinued finishes and sourcing suitable replacements
- Ordering customizations beyond builder standards
- Coordinating electrical, plumbing, and mechanical relocations or additions
- Finish selections and specification documentation
- Communication between construction teams and purchasers

Luxury Model Homes for Fernbrook Homes
When I founded AVA Interior Design in 2005, some of my earliest and most formative projects were the creation of luxury model homes for Fernbrook Homes across the Greater Toronto Area.
These model homes became more than beautifully staged space- they evolved into living portfolios that introduced homeowners to my work and led to many long-standing private residential relationships that continue to this day.
Responsibilities included full pre-build to completion design:
Exterior Selections
- Brick, stone, shingles, precast, and windows
- Exterior lighting and garage door styles
- Landscaping feedback and architectural detailing
Interior Architectural & Finish Design
- Flooring, wall tile, and hardwood
- Custom carpentry details with Brenlo and Marciano Doors & Trims
- Wainscotting, baseboards, mouldings, and interior door styles
- Kitchen and bathroom layout feedback
- Cabinet styles, colours, and hardware
- Plumbing fixtures, lighting layouts, and fireplace design
- Closets, countertops, laundry finishes, and more
