Environmental Designer | Interior & Exterior Design Consultations
As an Environmental Designer, I take a thoughtful, multidisciplinary approach to the relationship between people, interiors, architecture and the surrounding environment. I create design concepts that balance beauty, function, comfort and human experience.
My services include interior and exterior design consultations, space planning, colour and material selections, furnishings, lighting, finishes, styling, architectural awareness and guidance for residential, commercial and hospitality spaces. I also consider how light, scale, proportion, texture, durability, sustainability and the surrounding site influence the way a space looks, feels and functions.
Whether you are planning an interior refresh, renovation, new build or exterior improvement, I can help you develop a cohesive design direction that is functional, visually refined and responsive to your needs.

What can an Environmental Designer Do?
As an Environmental Designer, I take a broad, multidisciplinary approach to the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. My work considers not only the appearance of an interior, but also how a space functions, feels and connects to its surrounding environment.
An Environmental Designer can:
- Develop thoughtful interior concepts that balance beauty, function and human experience
- Plan and organize interior spaces to improve flow, comfort and usability
- Consider the relationship between interiors, architecture, site and surrounding context
- Develop design concepts for residential, commercial and hospitality environments
- Select interior finishes, colours, materials, furnishings and decorative elements
- Coordinate furniture, fixtures and equipment selections
- Develop concepts for custom cabinetry, millwork and built-in features
- Select and coordinate decorative and architectural lighting
- Create cohesive material, colour and finish palettes
- Support renovations through design development, space planning and finish selections
- Consider accessibility, comfort, ergonomics and the needs of the people using a space
- Study how light, scale, proportion, texture, acoustics and materials influence human experience
- Consider sustainability, durability, resource use and the environmental impact of design decisions
- Respond to the relationship between indoor environments and the broader built environment
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, trades, consultants and other design professionals
- Develop design presentations, drawings, specifications, material palettes and visual concepts
- Create environments that are functional, meaningful, visually refined and responsive to their users
