When someone who understands construction chooses to bring in an Interior Design consultant, it is a reminder that a successful home is about more than simply building walls; it is about creating a space that functions beautifully, feels intentional, and supports everyday life.
We are currently at the framing stage of this custom home, one of the most important phases in the entire process. This is where final plumbing locations, room layouts, circulation, furniture planning, lighting considerations and daily functionality all need to come together before the walls are closed.
Often, this stage becomes a true “now or never” moment.
Small decisions made today can have a lasting impact for years to come. A few inches in the wrong place, an overlooked layout concern, or a missed opportunity can become expensive or even impossible to change later.
I was brought in to review the plans and help work through several details that had been causing uncertainty. Through collaboration and careful planning, we found solutions that improved the overall flow, functionality, and comfort of the home while giving my client confidence moving forward.
Today my sign went up on site, a small moment that represents something bigger: trust, collaboration, and the beginning of bringing a vision to life.
